Reception and handling plan for ship-generated waste and cargo residues
In accordance with the provisions of Article 62 et seq. of the Consolidated Text of the Law on State Ports and the Merchant Navy (approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2011 of 5 September) and Royal Decree 128/2022 of 15 February, on port facilities for the reception of ship-generated waste, the Bay of Cádiz Port Authority provides users with the necessary facilities for the management of waste generated by ships and cargo waste.
The main objective of this plan is to reduce discharges into the sea, prevent illegal dumping and optimise waste delivery operations at the port facilities in the Bay of Cádiz
