Organization

The Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz (APBC) is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2011 of 5 September, which approves the revised text of the Law on State Ports and Merchant Marine.

According to the definition contained in Article 24 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2011, the Port Authority are public law entities with legal personality and its own, independent of the state and full capacity to act to fulfill its goals.

The Port Authority of Cadiz Bay manages the general interests ports of Cadiz Bay.

The organs which control the functioning of the Port Authority of Cadiz Bay are:

  • Organs of government: Board of Directors and Chairman
  • Organ of management: Manager
  • Organ of assistance: Navigation and Port Board
