Port Control Center (PCC)

From the Port Control Centre is tracking all the activities of port operations, such as:

• Berthing and unberthing of vessels.
• Start and end of loading / unloading.
• Access Control.
• Authorization Control Service.
• Emergency Management.
• Dangerous Goods.
• Maritime Signalling.
• Operational Communications Centre Port Police.
• Authorizations several.


The Port Control Centre performs the functions of the Emergency Control Centre referred to in Article 12 of Royal Decree 145/1989 of January, which approves the National Regulation of Admission, Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods. It is also the Communications Center at the Ministry of the Interior is directed to report changes in levels of protection of port facilities affected by the International Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities. Located in the Port Police Headquarters (Muelle Marqués de Comillas s / n), is equipped with communications equipment, CCTV, AIS, and is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
