Maritime Traffic Control

In article 58.2.a., of Section II in Chapter II "Port Services", the Law 48/2003, of 26th November, of economic rules and the rendering of services of ports of general interest, states that: “In the service area of the port the Port Authorities will render the service of urban planning, coordination and control of port traffic, both at sea and on land”.
In compliance with that which has been stated in the previous paragraph, the Bay of Cadiz Port Authority has established two systems of traffic control for the service area, on the basis of its nature, that are: Maritime Traffic and Land Traffic.
